Meet Saïd

Saïdi Alabi, also known as "Saïd," is a meteorology and oceanography officer in the US Navy, hailing originally from Togo. Having relocated to the US in 2012 through the diversity visa program, Saïd holds a bachelor’s degree in mathematics with a minor in statistics. While finding joy in playing the guitar and soccer, he is deeply committed to philanthropy, particularly through his involvement in the establishment of JJME, a nonprofit organization focused on providing nutritional support and basic education to children and orphans in Togo.

As the Vice Chair of JJME, Saïd channels his passion towards making a positive impact on the lives of those in need. Beyond his military and personal pursuits, his dedication to philanthropy shines through his commitment to building a better world. Concurrently, Saïd is pursuing a Data Science and Machine Learning certificate at the Naval Postgraduate School, showcasing his proactive approach to continuous learning and staying at the forefront of technological advancements.
