Rebecca’s heart has always belonged to children — all children. She firmly believes that every child is a masterpiece, created intentionally by God. Her journey into humanitarian work began after witnessing a heartbreaking crisis in a developing country, where desperation led many to risk their lives for a chance to make a better life — to simply have the opportunity to work, feed their families, and live free. Rebecca knew she could no longer remain lukewarm in her faith or compassion; she felt God calling her not just to care from a distance, but to go, see, and serve with her whole heart. Answering that call, she and her husband followed a winding, God-orchestrated path — one full of unexpected connections and divine appointments — that ultimately led them to West Africa. There, Rebecca has earned the honor of being called "Maman" by thirty-two orphaned children living at Jesus the Good Shepherd Orphanage in Togo.
